He was an associate professor at the Fine Arts Academy of the University of Mostar in Široki Brijeg. At first he was close to grotesque figuration on the trail of pop art, then he formed his own artistic expression, in which he came close to the Croatian folk masters in the range from baroque to naive art in his choice of motifs. In his drawings of strong plasticity, clear lines and rich chromaticism, he uses his poetic imagination to create distinctive compositions imbued with irony and symbolism. Since 1985, he has been creating imaginative sculptures in wood and glazed terracotta. He was engaged in graphics, graphic design and illustrating books.
